- Telephone Sales and Marketing
Business Computer Associates, Inc. and its sister
company Nonprofit Software, LLC., providers of wholesale/distribution
and Nonprofit Accounting/Fundraising Software solutions,
are seeking a proactive and successful sales team
player to drive leads and qualify marketing responses
for its outside sales force. You will be responsible
for prospecting, qualifying, and progressing opportunities
into the sales pipeline. This includes follow-up and
lead qualification of events and direct marketing
campaigns, web inquiries, and referrals, and will
be responsible for continual and ongoing management
of the contact database using our sales force automation
system. Specific responsibilities include front-end
sales and market development efforts including company/market
research, contact identification, telemarketing and
cold-calling activities geared to BCA and NPS target
accounts and market segments. This inside sales team
member may be asked to work from target account lists,
or focused on specific verticals or industry segments.
The ideal candidate is adept at telephone prospecting
and lead generation, understands complex sales situations,
and can articulate the BCA and NPS value proposition
and story with confidence and sales professionalism.
Good PC skills and use of sales automation/contact
management tools required. Excellent written and
verbal communication skills are required. Bilingual
English and Spanish preferred. The individual must
be able to convey solutions, products and concepts
in a positive, clear, and concise manner in the
form of presentations and demonstrations given over
the phone. Must possess skills to open doors and
progress suspects to prospects. This individual
contributor may have carried a quota in his/her
prior jobs, and may have been successful at meeting/exceeding
quota commitments. They understand the vital importance
of leads and building a pipeline on a consistent
basis.
Bachelor’s Degree required, with 4-5 years
lead qualification, business development, inside
sales, telemarketing or other customer-facing experience,
preferably with an enterprise application software
vendor. A solid understanding of accounting systems
and financials is needed to be successful. Compensation
plan is commensurate with experience and rewards
success.
